Stanley Tucci will also be honoured for his outstanding career, which includes roles in The Devil Wears Prada, Road To Perdition and The Terminal.
“Stanley Tucci is one of the most versatile stage and screen actors of his generation,” Michelle said.
“He has been a longtime favourite in independent film but his recent successes in TV and more mainstream films have revealed his great talents to an even wider audience. With a new production company, we look forward to more great films with Stanley in front of and behind the camera.”
Director Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, The Lovely Bones) and Working Title producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will also receive gongs at the ceremony.

According to mashable.com, the source of the stories is a web site known as faheawish.com, which actually will generate a story around the celebrity of your choice. Mashable.com reports as follows.
“As it turns out, there’s actually one site responsible for all of these stories – fakeawish.com. The site lets you input the name of a celebrity, and then generates a fictitious story about their untimely demise. The news story actually somewhat resembles a Yahoo News page, which is perhaps why these stories get wings and spread.”
So be forewarned. There are a lot of bogus death stories floating around. The reasons people would want to spread such twaddle would make for interesting speculation.
